There's a message behind "21 Guns"

I know, the first thing you hear "21 Guns", the image of Green Day starts popping out in your mind!

HOLD ON...!!!

The first time I've heard this song I've felt moved as if my spirits were lifted up, in other words, this song is uplifting. Okay, before you start commenting...let's have a look at the lyrics.

The chorus goes like this:

One, 21 Guns Lay down your arms, give up the fight One, 21 Guns Throw up your arms into the sky
Alright, what really caught my attention was throw up your arms into the sky.
Everyday, we try to solve our own problems on our own, things always turns out ugly.
Therefore, it is right for us to humble ourselves and throw up your arms to God!

God doesn't make the problem disappear but He does give us the strength and encouragement that we need to solve it.

Here's another part of the lyrics:

Your faith walks on broken glass And the hangover doesn't pass Nothing's built to last You're in ruins
Here we can see that our problems can sometimes be the biggest issue in our lives, they may destroy you if you don't solve them or you try other methods besides God to overcome them, but of course it never works!

Now go back to the chorus and feel the message which is trying reach you...
Give up the fight, throw up your arms...to Our Wonderful Counselor !

Another thing to bear in mind is that we must try love one another as you would to yourself.
Forgive others for their wrong-doings towards us.

"21 Guns" is truly a beautiful song if you try understand it and the theme of the song is...LOVE !!!

There is a time for everything...a time to be born and a time to die

Tonight turns out be a very unhappy night for many because someone was taken away from us.

Is this the moment we start to blame God for the passing away of someone we love?
No

The Bible clearly says that there is a time for everything. Everything that has happen we cannot fully understand, but one clear purpose had just struck me to write about this sober situation.

It is true that the loss of a loved one can be very heartbreaking and I know most people just blame it either on themselves or on God. However, we should never blame God !
God knows every plan He has for His children, it is written" For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."(Jeremiah 29:11)

So, you might lose someone you cherish the most, but KEEP YOUR FAITH ALIVE!!!
Jesus says that in the Kingdom of God, there are rooms for everyone who goes to Heaven.

Jesus is the Truth, the Way and the Life, whoever believes He is the Saviour and repents of their sins will not perish but have eternal life.
So brothers and sisters in Christ, let us continue to bear good fruit as a demonstration of our faith in our Lord Jesus!!!

How puny we humans really are?

Hey there, this is my first blog for the year and I recently was moved by the 2009 blockbuster titled "2012".

I know, this movie is about a global disaster that is terrorizing every one's lives and unfortunately many died in the movie.

So my point is, no matter how civilized we are, we will never be able to match the power of our Creator!
We are nothing but dust in the eyes of God, so don't try to challenge God, because we just cannot !!!

As introduction to our new year, let us seek God in a fresh new perspective and ask Him to show us how to live our lives more abundantly.

Bible verse of the day:
"...for your Heavenly Father knows what you need. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things wil be given to you as well."
Matthew 6: 32-33
