Some of you might have came across my Facebook thoughts section which reads : "the world's motto is "live and learn" but a Christian's motto is "LEARN and live"". Tonight, I will explain in detail what does that quote actually means.
A large number of people in this world believe that we should acquire a certain experience before we could start living our lives correctly. However, that is not the case for us Christians.
Why?
We Christians have the Bible which is the Word of God. I know some might argue on the term "Word of God" because of the possibility that the Bible is the word is of God Himself. Dear readers, let me fill you in with some insights on the meaning of the term. The Bible is not entirely "the words of God" but God-inspired. God-inspired means God participated during the creation of the books of the Bible, He was guiding the authors to write each statement in the Bible. Therefore, there should be no doubt whether we should trust the Bible.
Now...why does the Bible was written anyway?
Simple, the Bible was written to teach us about the history of His people, from the first man who sinned until the salvation was given through faith in Jesus Christ. besides, the Bible gives us lessons on how to carry out our mortal lives in this world. Thus, let us LEARN from the Word of God on how to live righteously before our Creator.
Hold on there is another point I want to make...is being single a curse?( For the females)
The answer to that question is definitely a 'no', being single is not a curse but the greatest moment when God can use you in way that is impossible when you're married. Am I saying that you should not marry? NO
My point is that we should not be discouraged by being single but to let God use you for His Glory.
It is written in Bible that a good wife is hard to find. A woman must not try charm men nor she should be flirting with men just for the sake of looking for a husband.
It is written that the husband is the one who finds the woman and the woman must have virtues synonymous to being a woman of God.
Singleness is the time in which a woman is to cultivate the virtues that pertains to being a woman of God, so that she can offer to her future husband and the world something more than just a pretty face.
Does this have anything to do with the topic I am discussing just now?
Yes, many women thinks they should be involve in many relationships just to "obtain experiences" but a Christian woman doesn't have to do so instead she should learn from the Bible and live.
